Ivan and Marco Calderon, founders of the award winning Taco Mesa restaurants in Orange County, bring Mexican cuisine into the 21st Century with their new restaurant, Taco Rosa. Enjoy our unique approach to pre-Columbian cooking fused with Spanish, French and Southwestern culinary influences in a casual cantina-style setting. Our original specialties are inspired by authentic and innovative recipes that utilize contemporary cooking techniques. Our “Daily Specials Program” includes many house specialties prepared by our creative chefs. Our exhibition kitchen includes a churro station serving complimentary ”bocadilllos” (appetizers) and hand-pressed corn tortillas. Chocolate - one of Mexico's most important contributions to the culinary world – was created for Aztec emperors. Taco Rosa pays homage to chocolate and it's ancient roots by presenting our chocolate fountain, from where we are proud to offer a splendid collection of the most sinfully gratifying desserts.
