It all started in the kitchen over 40 years ago. Mama Avila brought the delicious recipes from Guanajuato, Mexico that had been in her family for generations. Over the years, Avila's El Ranchito has grown to 11 locations in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Each restaurant is under the personal care of a family member, guaranteeing the reputation the family has earned for treating our customers like part of the family.

Great authentic recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. The Lake Forest location is known for not only the family recipes that you find at every location, but also for the 100+ tequila selection and table-side guacamole.

If you love Mexican cuisine, you will not find better than Avila's El Ranchito. My fav locations are San Clemente, Corona Del Mar and Newport.

Great location, amazing food and margaritas, sometimes hard to get a seat outside but worth the wait and you can walk off your feast on the beach after!!
