A Star is Born is a warm and friendly salon for kids of all ages. With over 30-years of experience, this bustling, kid friendly shop has a little something for everyone. There are airplanes and cars for toddlers to sit during haircuts. Game-cube and hand held video games for older children, continuous videos and music for all ages, and always a cookie reward at the end. There is a broad array of hair products for sale and an enclosed play area for those who are waiting. First timers are awarded a first haircut certificate, a picture and a lock of their hair. Fancy braids, twists and up styles are there for young and old.
Joy and her salon are fabulous. Everyone should know what wonderful work she and her team do!

They really cater to the lil ones- airplanes to sit in, character aprons, video games to play and more!

My daughter had her first hair cut here. With her curlly hair it made it really hard to cut her locks of curls. Before I could ask to save them, she was putting them in an envelope for me to take home.
